EDIT: Ok. It's tomorrow. I'm half watching the episode over again, and here are my thoughts. I'm going to break it up into two posts, I think, because good lord this is ending up long.

Wooo new approach to my Supernatural watching!

Here's what I have to say about the first 15 minutes or so of the episode. From here, I'll continue in increments.

First of all, I am still way too scared to watch the last few episodes of season one and the first episode of season two. I watched the "Then" thing and teared up. Obviously I am way too invested in this show and it's characters.

But after all of that unpleasantness, this episode began. We find ourselves in Bumfuck, Montana, where a young woman gets decapitated. Good times.

Jesus Christ on a freaking cracker.

There are a million different things I could say about this episode. At first, I tried to just make myself write bits about the John/Dean/Sam scenes, but by the end I added in a little more.

So first of all, John has a fuckin' monster truck. I mean, I sort of noticed the last time we saw it, but Jesus that thing is huge.

To really start off, however, I have to say: I absolutely LOVE the John/Sam relationship.

Sorry to make this so long. Wasn't even as bad as it could be. You people have no idea what kind of notes I'm capable of taking for this friggin' show. I'm definitely obsessed. But I love it.

I told myself I couldn't do this. I told myself I'd watch an early episode from the second season and just go to sleep and write about it in the morning. Erm...afternoon. When I wake up, in any case.

But that was awesome.

Ok, before I get into the second season of "Supernatural," I've got one question for anyone who has seen it.


Why does everyone hate Jo so much? Should I be preparing myself for something?
